At USC, performance management is a continuous journey centered on four key stages: planning, coaching, evaluating, and rewarding. This approach emphasizes year-round development by encouraging regular conversations and aligning on goals to drive success. 

The website, which was made available in 2024, features a comprehensive collection of resources to support personal and organizational growth that staff and managers can access. 

These resources include information on the Annual Performance Review (APR) cycle, detailed guides, tip sheets, and curated courses on performance management skills. The site encourages a culture of ongoing growth and accountability by demonstrating that performance management is more than an annual event. 

The site is readily available to staff by visiting the Employee Gateway and navigating to the “Performance management” page under “Learn & grow.”
