Client Services
This team of HR leaders, including HR Partners, provide client services guidance and support to administrative unit and select school units in HR matters and practices. Our Client Services teams are organized into three service lines – University Services, Academic Operations, and University Operations – to enable efficient knowledge sharing and client expertise. Ingrained in the units they serve, Client Services team members work with unit leaders to develop HR strategies that support achievement of the unit’s goals, including building high-performing teams and enhancing the staff and faculty experience.
Employee and Labor Relations
Employee and Labor Relations cultivates a healthy work environment by engaging with university leaders and employees to ensure they have the tools to resolve concerns in a respectful, proactive, and supportive manner that serves the USC community and mission. This team also provides training on workplace laws, policies, and practices, analyzes data, and conducts fact-finding needed to resolve concerns.
HR Information Systems
Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) provides functional and technical support to HR systems such as Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) – for benefits and timekeeping – and TrojanLearn – USC’s learning and development platform.
HR Service Center
The HR Service Center (HRSC) is your comprehensive resource for benefits, time off, leave administration, and other HR-related inquiries, as well as help with Workday. Talent Management
Talent Management focuses on the attraction, development, engagement, and retention of employees, beginning with talent acquisition and onboarding, continuing through benefits and Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD), and closing with retirement. Along the USC career journey, this team provides ongoing development and meaningful experiences that allow our faculty and staff to thrive and in turn help the university grow and achieve its central mission.

Workforce Analytics collects, tracks, reports, and analyzes HR data requests for HR teams and leadership, helping to facilitate data-driven decisions.
